TMAJ Changes 2004

General:

• Significantly improved verification of input data.

• Frozen Blocks imported

• Added documentation including JavaDoc, basic-usage, and how to setup a TMAJ server.

• Added Help Pages in applications.

• New feature to log changes to the database.

• Created Samples-Tracking Application.

• Added support to TMAJ for other databases than Sybase, namely Oracle.

• Made TMAJ compatible with Applied Imaging ARIOL system.

• Created ScoredImages table for better database design.

ArrayBuilder:

• Redesigned GUI to make application more user-friendly.
  

Input:

• New Searching Mechanism to allow faster and more detailed searches

• More tools for filtering & sorting.

• More robust Single-Input-Panel

Image Analysis:

• Addition of Scans Table to allow for multiple Scans of a single ArraySlide.

• Added ability for users to share and finalize sessions.

• Users can put papers they have written into TMAJ and attach sessions.

• Improved ScoredImages Data-Table GUI

Import:

• Improved import function that allows users to mass-import Specimens.

Admin:

• New Security Mechanism to limit user-access to Specimens and Blocks

• More security options on limiting user-access to ArrayBuilder and Input applications.

• Improved GUI allows data to be viewed easier.
