The Random Order Option
Users have the option of viewing the positions in an array in a random
order instead of going left-to-right, and then up-to-down. Users
may turn on the random option in the image application options
menu. This option is useful for limiting user-bias if the Tissue
MicroArray has been created in a non-random format.
Default Ordering
Default ordering is "Left-To-Right; Then
Up-To-Down". Normally when a user clicks the "Next" button, the
next image to the
right is displayed. So if a user were to score a 3 by 3 array,
they start with position (x=1, y=1) then (x=2,y=1), then (x=3,y=1),
then (x=1,y=2), and so on. The user will visit all positions in
the array.
